As a reference, Remote Programming is available for:
- Models: 2013-2020 Volvo/Mack OBD Trucks
- Connector (refer to your diagnostic port): 16-PIN or square/rectangular
- Engine Models: D11,D13,D16, etc...
For 2013-2020 Volvo/Mack OBD Trucks with the DPF/DEF, please email us at info@akzodiesel.com with your truck's full information (i.e. year, make, engine model, engine serial number and full vin) to confirm that a programming solution is available for your truck.

Necessary Requirements for Remote Programming
We will need the following:
- Laptop: Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit with 6GB of RAM
- Interface (a connector from the laptop to the truck): OBD II (16-Pin) Nexiq adapter (Refer to your diagnostic port for the correct one)
- Program: TeamViewer (to provide remote access)
- Software: Tech Tool Software (We will download a complimentary version at no charge)
- Steady Internet
Remote Programming Details - DPF/DEF ONLY
Remote Programming is be available for 2013-2020 Volvo/Mack OBD Trucks with the 16-Pin or square/rectangular connector for the DPF/DEF only (not the EGR). We will then connect remotely to program your truck for the DPF/DEF, using a laptop, Nexiq adapter, TeamViewer and internet. You will need to ensure that you have "Necessary Requirements" readily available for Remote Programming.
Note: The EGR and 7th injector must be in working condition.

1. Purchase the Service
Purchase the remote programming service to receive your confirmation email with instructions.
2. Schedule Your Session
Contact our technical support team to schedule your remote tuning session at a convenient time.
3. Prepare Your Vehicle
Ensure the vehicle is parked, engine off, and you have access to a Windows laptop and a compatible diagnostic adapter (NEXIQ, VOCOM, or Inline 6/7).
Remote Connection Steps
1. Download TeamViewer
Install the free version of TeamViewer on your Windows laptop from: www.TeamViewer.com
2. Connect to the Truck
Hook up to the vehicle using your diagnostic interface (NEXIQ, VOCOM, or Inline 6/7).
3. Send Your TeamViewer Credentials
Provide us with your TeamViewer ID and password so our technician can connect and complete the remote programming.
